This includes: rants, poems, rambles, all the OMG!s a teenager can type - and - photographs. (See Article 2 of the terms of service.) I now remember that this is the reason why I pulled all of my photos off of that service a while ago. That said, I just received a new camera (thanks for the B-Day prezzie sweetie!) and I started a 365 project!
For those of you who don't know, this is something that you do at least once a day, every day, for a whole year. Some people learn to macrame, some cook a new recipe from Julia Child cookbooks, me - I followed the lead of a number of friends and family. For my own 365 Project, I have decided to complete my project in pictures that I will personally take. Now, for the past two (plus) weeks I was posting on FB! Needless to say, I won't be doing that any more!
This is a hobby that I had put aside a long time ago thinking "when I retire I'll go back to it" ... but that was really just an excuse. I got my new camera on June 13, 2010
I also started a 365 project on a site devoted to fellow photo-philes (like an audiophile only for music!) Don't get me wrong...I don't think that every photo I take is a work of art or something that's worthy of someone else (FB) impinging on my copyright. I do think that FB should at least have the courtesy to say: "Hey, nice pic, we'll be using that for a day or so!!!"
End of rant!
So, from now on I'll be posting my 365 here. The first 18 photos are in an album but I don't know how to link that yet, but when I figure out how I'll have it up as soon as possible.
For now, here is photo 19:
